Tomato pizza is like Pastrami, you really have to be in the mood. First time at Papa's and I kinda liked the mustard pie but I'm really not a fan of almost burnt crust. Four stars because this Neapolitan pie guy is intrigued enough to go another round. Till next time.

I love a nice tomato pie. It is one of my favorite styles of pizza. While visiting the Robbinsville area over the weekend, we stopped by this pizza place, to order a pie to go. The place wasn't too crowded, so we were able to get the pie fairly quickly. As soon as I received the pizza, I knew it was going to be amazing. The smell coming from the box, made the pizza smell so good. Once I opened it and looked at the pie, I knew it was going to be great. Lots of tomato sauce above the cheese here. I love extra tomato sauce on pizzas. This pizza was very crispy and had zero flop; which is how I like my pizzas. Truly spectacular. The sauce was so good. It really stood out. I ate 4 slices in 1 sitting, that's how good it was. One of the best pizzas in NJ for sure. I highly recommend this place.

Oh my goodness!!! I stopped at a place in this strip mall, and my friend happens to be a tomato pie enthusiast. We pivoted and ate here. What a delightful surprise. The ambiance is non-assuming and decorated similar to my great grandparents Italian home. Lots of family photos, and accolades. Accompanied by the hospitable servers, it was a homey feeling. The tomato pies were more similar to red top - light and sweet sauce. The game changer for me was the crust. It was crunchy and light - my personal favorite style. I easily ate half a pie. I also had a cup of soup, which had amazing flavor but lacked and substantial chicken. I would focus on their pizza. :)

From a New Yorker, this place is 5/5 Fresh, thin crust, and very tasty pizza. I can eat a full pie (it's pretty light) Service is excellent and it's a very homey vibe inside. Almost like old school comfort. Would stop here anytime I'm in the area.

Updating my review as promised- the bang bang shrimp was delicious and I would definitely get it again! The little bread pieces the shrimp were on were nice and crispy. The mustard pie was, again, delicious! It wasn't quite as crispy as last time so I'm hopeful that next time it's crispier again (not burnt but crispy), but it was still crispy near the middle to end. The temperature inside was perfect: not hot but not freezing. Margie was our server and she was very attentive and friendly. At the end we did have a delay in paying, however, as after we were given the check no one came back to get it until we walked up to the front desk. Another table behind us had to do the same and they were not happy about that. Otherwise, everything was great and I'll be back again soon!

Perfect pizza every time. thin crust, great sauce, no flop. The mustard pie is a thing of wonder. Every topping is top flight, the salads are awesome. Papa's is old school. Simple, consistent, and always perfect.

I heard from a friend that there was a Trenton-style pizza (but also a mustard pizza), I knew I had to make the long drive to Papa's. I really liked the sweet chunkier pizza sauce with small pieces of tomato. The mustard flavor is not over-powering, and at times it's even hard to pick up on. The sauce was chunky and slightly sweet for my taste. The pie had more cheese than average for tomato pies, which I liked. The edges were crispy, but the middle was soft and a little floppy. The portions are huge, I got small which definitely could feed two. Overall I think it was very good not great as another establishment down the street from them, but worth a visit if you like tomato pies!

We've heard a lot about this pizza place so while we were in the area we gave it a shot Ordered one mustard pie with sausage and one plain with pepperoni I thought the crust was delicious and the mustard although different was an interesting topping. Not sure having the cheese on the bottom and tomato in top is my favorite Although I'm glad I stopped in and tried it it want one of my favorite pizzas Glad we tried it. Nice place, welcoming and helpful and patient waitress. She was awesome
